Dragon blood Equines
They are a type of horse that has certain aspects of a dragon. They are also known as Kirin. These horses are a very proud species, and do not let just anyone ride them. The Dragon Blood Equine is large and sleek. It's built for speed, and thus are prized as racing horses. However, since they are a very wild and proud horse, they cannot be broken. Instead, a bond and partnership is forged through a lot of work, pampering, and bribing.
The Dragon Blood Equine is tall, sleek, and majestic. They don't just 'walk' from place to place, they prance. Their heads are always held high. They also come in a variety of horn styles. From what is known as a 'dual crescent', being the most common, a unicorn horn, a 'split' horn, or the 'branch' style. Some of which have an orb that seems to float with the horn, and always matches the eye color. They have scaled plates over their face, starting at the forehead and ending just over the nostrils. Their eyes can be of any color of the spectrum, though always blue if bald. Dragon Blood Equine's have a long mane and tufts of hair growing from the upper arms to the elbow. Another set of tufts grows down the rump to the hocks. Their tails are erect with a great amount of hair growing from it. Their hooves are covered in heavy feathering, the hair almost always covering the hooves themselves unless in motion. Males grow a distinct beard that sets them apart from females. A Dragon Blood Equine can stand 16 hands minimum and 21 hands maximum.

Kordana
Mother to Platereh
Mare of The Móinéir herd.
Kordana Tamed?
Tame Kordana? I feel that she and I have made a... dubious friendship. I met her in the hills of a very wild country and was stunned by the power she held in her very demeanor. She, of course, was not so impressed by my puny human physique and after an imperious stare turned and galloped away. However, she was not prepared for my tenacity. I ranged the hills in search of her and found her favorite place to rest and relax herself. There I left treats at first, to show my good will. She still wouldn't show herself to me when I invaded her space for the longest time. However, after a few months of patient, quiet visiting, I found myself in her glorious presence. It took still longer and much more patience and generosity on my part before she would allow me to come close enough to touch her. However, I was willing to pay that price. While I would never dare to say that Kordana is a tamed beast, I am glad to boast that she has finally come round to acknowledging me as a welcome companion. After more scrapes and bruises (some of them on my ribs) we have finally come to the agreement that I am allowed to ride her as well. This has taken well over two years to finally come to fruition, but I am proud to say that I now have... befriended the untamed heart of Kordana. | Design © LostHope of CS | Character © PixieStoryteller (me!) |

Discovering Sio
Why did it have to rain?? I hate rain... Oh well, the inconvenience lead to a fascinating discovery. It was raining in the mountains that day as I was taking a hike and, as I said, I hate rain. So in an effort to avoid any further drenching, I ducked under what I at first thought was an overhang in the cliff-side I'd been hiking past. What I'd discovered was that the overhang hid the entrance to a wide, dry cave. Thinking that perhaps the cave would be a good place to bed down in for the night, I entered and found that the cave was not, as I had originally thought, without an occupant. A strange shadow seemed to drift over the cave floor, eerily making no noise as it made its way into the dusky light of the rainy afternoon. Its eyes caught what little light filtered through and shimmered a dull red. The appearance of the ghostly creature sent a chill down my spine. Despite this, I didn't leave. I really don't like rain. Anyway, it turned out that the creature was not as terrifying as it had first appeared. As it came up, I realized that it's hooves did make a distinct clopping sound, like any other equine, but it was covered by the roar of the rain on the overhang. He peered at me, not with hostility, but curiosity. And as I had no intention of going back out into the rain, I felt there was no harm in finding out just how willing this creature was to tolerate my presence. I took a step toward him. He did not back away and, on the contrary, reached out his head towards me. I, in turn, stretched out my hand, palm up, towards him and his soft, velvety nose touched my palm. I felt an instant connection. We have been... strange friends ever since. | Design © LostHope of CS | Character © PixieStoryteller (me!) |

Sahllumony
Mare of The Móinéir herd.
Favorite Place
When all is quiet, and the shy mare isn't currently needed for anything, Sahllumony likes to sidle away from her herd, loping off to her favorite place. This is a tranquil pond surrounded by soft grass in a clearing on the edge of the territory. She loves to sit there and stare into the gently glistening water and day-dream about magnificent adventures, strange places far, far away both real and not real. Occasionally, when the sun is hitting the pool just right, it perfectly reflects the beautiful mare's image back to her. She takes pleasure in the shimmer of her pale coat and the way her eyes match the beautiful sky above. She never likes to talk about how pretty she is, but the fact that she is lovely warms her soul, even if it is only she and her creator that know it. | Design © LostHope of CS | Character © PixieStoryteller (me!) |

Jasmina
Quirk
Jasmina tends to move with a natural confidence in her stride. You look at her from a distance and think to yourself: that is a mare with an end in mind. Unfortunately, that is not actually the case. While she can hold her own in social interactions with those of lower status than herself, should Jasmina be approached by anyone of any actual importance she will immediately begin communicating with a polite dip of her head... every couple of seconds. Its nothing she really notices about herself, just an unconscious desire to show her utmost respect for anyone more worthy than herself.
